I love this base-layer for all things winter. It is super lightweight, very soft, and yet one of the warmest base-layer tops I own. I use it for nordic skiing, backcountry and alpine skiing, snowshoeing, and backcountry winter camping. I am 5'11, 165 lbs, average build and I prefer a size medium. It's snug, but not restrictive.

Perfect for outdoors

I'm wearing it right now hood down. Yesterday it was cold and rainy and had some hail even snow threw the hood up and put a beanie on top and it really helped keep the warmth. Highly recommend.

This hoodie is going to be perfect for those early morning starts where it's still too chilly for short sleeves but too warm as you get moving.
