I was so fired up to learn about the Rydr Lites because I always liked the Rydr, but it's just too heavy for me. These are perfect. Heavy enough that they still feel substantial but light enough for every day wear, even when it's warmer outside. And the Full size works for me - I have a big butt and legs (including calves) which means I cannot wear most of the slim/tapered pants on the market these days. I can't even really the Klassik work unless a model has tons of stretch. My only heads up, which was a bit of a pain during order but solvable by ordering a bunch of items and sending some back-- the sizes varied. A few years ago, I bought 33 waist in Rydr and it still fits fine. But now the 33 was too tight and the 34 fit fine. This was across ALL their pants, so perhaps something changed in the designs (FWIW, I'm the same size and weight I was when I bought them before). Plus, the last time around, I was always a 34L. This time, it varied. In fact, within the Rydr Lite, different colors varied! I ended up keeping 32L in some and 34L in some. In some cases the 32L was perfect; in others, it was too short. In some cases the 34L was perfect; in others it was too long. So I had to try every single model. For what it's worth, I've had this same problem with Bonobos, so maybe I am just really a 33L and I get jammed within the reasonable variance in all clothes. But anyway, small price to pay because I love the pants.

A nice upgrade for me from my old Rydr.
I've worn Rydr pants in the past, but this is my first new pair in a few years, and I like the Lite version. The fabric is much more comfortable for everyday wear and I like the waist button over the old snap. Also like that they come in 35" waist, the full cut doesn't look so baggy and wearing a belt is optional with this size for me.

These are better than the original Rydr and I have zero reason to go back. The material is lighter, more comfortable, and proving to be every bit as durable as the thicker ones. These pants are great! A lighter version of the Rydr pant (my favorite). But the inseam on this style seems longer than normal, not a bad problem to have. These have just enough flex and are still incredibly durable.
